Sometimes, if we blame our government, we feel like no one will see our areas to blame, as well.
I feel like people just blame the government because they want something to hate, but I will say... the mentality is very immature. I know we could do so much better, but our government is very corrupt, no doubt about that.

Its kind of like.. if we only blame the government no one will listen to what we have to say, because it seems like EVERYONE blames the government.
In a way we as a people are to blame as well though. They say they're proud of the country but don't do much to actually help it.

Also, most countries go about where the government is afraid of the people, but in America, it's the people that are afraid of the government. We were founded by a right to overthrow the government if it isn't doing it's job. Seriously, I'm not kidding, it says that somewhere in the Declaration of Independence.
We aren't strong as a people. We're all too divided, individualized. We don't think of what's best for all of us, but just for ourselves, and that is why we cannot fix our government.
